Xwindows freezes

Hi all,
I have a problem with my freebsd installation. using xorg and kde the
screen freezes, usually with a bit of video debri left on the screen (you
know, when a bit of the previous graphic does not clear properly).
seems to also occur with xorg and gnome, though not this time... damn, was
hoping to catch an error message.
started gnome session via ssh login to regular user and the following
output was on the terminal

OK, restart using kde and it freezes the monment I try to open any
application, atleast part way into the application...
here is the screen output. In this case the application is kbounce...
