faulty crc

Hello I'm new to Freebsd and I'm trying to install Firefox from a port. One
of the dependencies is xorg-clients-6.8.2. During compile I noted a faulty
crc in X11R6.8.2-src1.tar.gzip
I've tried deleting the port and getting it from various cvsup locations but
same thing.
Not long after that the port fails
Problem appears in "do_traps.c"
error code 1.
Sorry if I haven't got this quite right but this is my first crack at BSD.
