Workaround for 855 Chipsets (resolution problem)

So far it was not possible to run 1400x1050 on Laptops with the Intel
855 chipset.
Alain Poirier now released a workaround on linux so that it is now
possible. As his original version is written on linux it does not run
on freebsd from scratch. Someone in #freebsd @ irc.freenode.org made
adjustments to the code so that it now compiles without error but for
me this version does not work. 
It tells me that my VBIOS has an unknown structure. I used an acer tm
661. Can someone check if it works on his laptop ?
