There are a lot of things missing in this report, one of them being a
normal entry which might be added to the list. That said I looked around
on the interwebs and found your page, it does not mention anything about
FreeBSD. Ofcourse I understand that if it's webbased it might be
supported, but that's not a very good argument to add you on the site. I
will close this PR instead. Thanks for using FreeBSD!

Here is a short description (from the project site):

>Description:
After some looking for ability to change sender mail address of cron daemon I decided to add this feature right in the cron daemon as it already done with MAILTO since I found nowhere in mailing list reasons to not do it. :)
I think that it could be useful for many people.
I'm a newbie in C so any corrections are welcome.
>How-To-Repeat:
Make a patch also :)
>Fix:
Use environment "MAILFOM" in your file crontab for change sender e-mail or will be used default (username@hostname).

slower then the actual update, this is because the updates happen

That said; this might be something that cannot be resolved by the
software that we are using now, there are other interfaces to
search through the mailing list archives, for example through
markmail:
http://freebsd.markmail.org/
and rambler.ru also provides something that can be used
probably. Would knowing that resolve the problem in the

State-Changed-By: remko
State-Changed-When: Fri Nov 6 07:27:53 UTC 2009
State-Changed-Why:
I think this is because the way the product works. CVS head tracking
what you see when you open cvsweb, is not listing version information
for branched items. It track's its own tree, unless you specify a
specific different revision, which you can do on the bottom part of
the webpage presented.
Annotate works a bit differently and shows the changed lines and
queries a bit different, which is why there are different results.
In my opinion this will not be corrected at anytime soon, it had been
in use for a long period of time, and no one actually had problems with
that. In other words the current situation works just fine.
Thanks

Message-ID:
Hi everybody!
How do I mirror FreeBSD sources (CVS or SVN) with rsync?
This is the first time I have to use rsync, and its man page really makes me
confused.
I would really appreciate your help.

I was looking for some files in cvsweb but it appears they are missing.
It was probably caused by svn move in trunk.
For example sys/netinet/ip_dummynet.c was moved to sys/netinet/ipfw/ip_dummynet.c
It is not visible on RELENG_7 branch with cvsweb (unless you look into Attic).
>How-To-Repeat:
1. http://svn.freebsd.org/viewvc/base/stable/7/sys/netinet/ip_dummynet.c
2. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/netinet/?only_with_tag=RELENG_7
3. no ip_dummynet.c in (2)

While trying to respond to ports/139975 I have forwarded a message
originally sent to maintainer. This was misinterpreted by GNATS as a new report,
possibly due to Fwd: instead of Re: in subject and ended up in ports/140508 ,
whose content was then migrated back to where it was intended.
Now, ports/139975 is missing content of the message and there is a
"for png, jpeg and others" misplaced just before message header.

State-Changed-Why:
Yes, replies to PRs need to begin with "Re: " and the PR number,
otherwise a new PR will be created. The problem wit that PR was
unrelated to that: GNATS sometimes has problems with very long
subject lines. I've joined the lines together and it now shows
correctly on the web.

Thanks, now it is visible but there is a problem with quoted-printable
encoded characters. Also I can't download second attachment
(config.log.gz) - all I get is an empty response.
Shall I open another PR for those ?

The second of those issues is known, and there is already a PR open
about it. The first of them I'll take a look at soon - I've already
started fixing bugs in the script.

Subject: Plus character in FreeBSD Ports Search query seems to break
Message-ID: <4B050EDA.9090103@douglasthrift.net>
Hello,
I was just trying to do a search for "objc++" on the FreeBSD Ports
Search
(http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=objc%2B%2B&stype=all&sektion=all)
and instead of showing any results it seems to have given up on
rendering the page after displaying the top section with the query box.
Is this a known problem?
Thanks!

The FreeSBIE link is also in www/en/advocacy/myths.sgml.
In addition, ThinBSD seems to have moved to http://thinbsd.zefyris.com/.

Subject: http://www.freebsd.org/publish.html
Message-ID: <4B07F946.4010904@iae.nl>
Hi,
I was looking at http://www.freebsd.org/publish.html and it states:
"If you know of any additional FreeBSD publications/CDROMs let us know,
at www@FreeBSD.org , so that they may be added
to this site."
So I compared what's on the site to my collection of old FreeBSD CDs.
I'm guessing you're not interested in just plain version updates where
the artwork stays the same or only minor changes like the colour of the
'FreeBSD' text and deamons shoes
(http://www.sacre-bl.eu/freebsd/21112009193.jpg). But you're missing the
'The Power to Serve!' artwork where the FreeBSD daemon walks serving a
drink on a CD (http://www.sacre-bl.eu/freebsd/21112009190.jpg). As far
as I can tell this was only used for versions 3.1 and 3.2. Version 3.3
reverts back to the deamon walking out of the mirroring CD.
I could drop this (or any other copies I have) under a propper scanner
if interested.
Let me know, regards,
Adrian
