Bugs can be in one of several states: o - open A problem report has been submitted, no sanity checking performed. a - analyzed The problem is understood and a solution is being sought. f - feedback Further work requires additional information from the originator or the community - possibly confirmation of the effectiveness of a proposed solution. p - patched A patch has been committed, but some issues (MFC and / or confirmation from originator) are still open. r - repocopy The resolution of the problem report is dependent on a repocopy operation within the CVS repository which is awaiting completion. s - suspended The problem is not being worked on, due to lack of information or resources. This is a prime candidate for somebody who is looking for a project to do. If the problem cannot be solved at all, it will be closed, rather than suspended. c - closed A problem report is closed when any changes have been integrated, documented, and tested -- or when fixing the problem is abandoned. Message-ID: <20080923193331.GP81522@hoeg.nl> Hello WWW folks, I think I spotted something strange on the FreeBSD man pages site. If I visit the following URL: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=posix_openpt&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+8-current&format=html I get presented the posix_openpt manpage from FreeBSD 7.0, instead of the one from -CURRENT. Even if I choose FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE, I get a manual page from 7.0. Does anyone know what's up with that? This is not a real bug, just a bit awkward - the manual page is from the system you have choosen (i.e. 8.0-CURRENT/5.3-RELEASE) however, the box serving the manual pages is runnig 7.0, that's why the foother of the manual page say's it's 7.0.
