I don't think it's been resolved in ath9k, no.

Your diagnosis has been very very thorough and helpful, thanks! It may
not actually be a power save queue issue.
As long as you can (a) reproduce it and (b) know exactly which
revision caused the issue, I'll begin dissecting that revision
sometime in mid-December.

That's a 5000 line diff though. What I'll likely do for you is chop up
the diff into many more smaller diffs so we can try to narrow down
what caused it.
