Hi Adrian,

I had a bit more of a play- it seems that it's something to do with how
loader.conf arranges the module insertion.

The mark where the --------8<----- is is where I began playing with the
computer, unloading if_ath.ko and if_ath_pci.ko with kldunload and then
loading them again with kldload got the card working.. looks like a race
condition to me?

Ignore the interface wlan.1 line, I tried loading the wlan.ko in case it
would help.
