The patch in Comment 41 has never been back ported to 12 stable or 11 stable
branches. It is only available in head branch as later forked 13 branch. I will
back port it to 12 stable next week. But it is too late for it to be in 12.2. 

Regarding to the SRIOV NIC, we only support Mellanox CX3 and CX4 at this time.
Intel NICs do not have VF drivers in the guest so they are not supported on
Hyper-V.
