copying /dev/da0 with dd(1) to file: output differs

Hello,

How is this possible:

$ dd if=/dev/da0 of=f1
7892087+0 records in
7892087+0 records out
$ dd if=/dev/da0 of=f2
7892087+0 records in
7892087+0 records out
$ diff f1 f1
Files f1 and f2 differ

(and no, /dev/da0s1a is not mounted).
