The Stick seems to be detected as CDROM:

in this State, loading the u3g.ko will cause an kernel panic.
After sending a EJECT with camcontrol
(root at ghostrunner) [/var/crash]# camcontrol eject cd1
Unit stopped successfully, Media ejected
the Stick appears as Cardreader
<ZTE MMC Storage 2.31> at scbus4 target 0 lun 0 (pass1,da0)
in this State, loading the u3g.ko will NOT cause an kernel panic.
