Just an update on my USB KVM woes: <freebsd-usb at freebsd.org> http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-usb/2008-November/005743.html I discovered completely by accident that PC-BSD somehow handles switching the IOGear USB KVM switch fine, but FreeBSD 7 with X.Org on its own does not. Maybe this is a window manager issue.
