FreeBSD localhost.localdomain 5.4-RC3 FreeBSD 5.4-RC3 #1: Wed Apr 27 14:50:59 PDT 2005 jared at localhost.localdomain:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/MYKERNEL i386
>Description:
After initial install and configuration, I was able to mount my iPod on da0s2 without a problem.
Later, I compiled my kernel with "device atapicam" (for sound-juicer et. al). After this, my iPod would not show up as a "da0" device, although it would show up in the output of "usbdevs".
I recompiled my kernel without atapicam, and my ipod functionality was back.
>How-To-Repeat:
Compile kernel with "device atapicam".
