Application aware firewall under BSD License

Hello, 

Thanks for adding me to the free bsd mailing list. I am Sajal Bhatia, Research Masters Student at QUT, Brisbane Australia. I just want to ask if there is any application aware firewall (only Web application firewall would also do) available under BSD license. Please not that I am not looking for application firewall for BSD OS but the one covered under BSD License.
