From javocado at gmail.com Fri Dec 19 23:22:29 2014 From: javocado at gmail.com (javocado) Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2014 15:22:26 -0800 Subject: Reboot PC from within FixIt Message-ID: I'm running a FixIt shell off the FreeBSD 8.4amd disk 1 CD, launched from sysinstall. I have then setup remote access via ssh. I'd like to know if there's a way for me to reboot the PC from within the FixIt shell (over ssh). All exiting from the FixIt shell sends me back to sysinstall. Thanks From allanjude at freebsd.org Fri Dec 19 23:42:39 2014 From: allanjude at freebsd.org (Allan Jude) Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2014 18:42:50 -0500 Subject: Reboot PC from within FixIt In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <5494B7FA.6050005@freebsd.org> On 2014-12-19 18:22, javocado wrote: > I'm running a FixIt shell off the FreeBSD 8.4amd disk 1 CD, launched from > sysinstall. > > I have then setup remote access via ssh. > > I'd like to know if there's a way for me to reboot the PC from within the > FixIt shell (over ssh).
