Mountroot prompt with the new vt(4) console not working.

No difference. What is interesting is that I can hear the fans on my
machine (mac mini 2011 model) pick up speed when I'm stuck at the
mountroot prompt unable to type anything as if something was running
in a very tight busy loop.
