We didn't tested speed much, but looks like you loose few MB (very
quick tests with dd). We are hosting 40K+ mailboxes, on ZFS :), so we
are more random-read/seek bound than Gbps bound.
But yes, we are running at 1.5Gbps and are happy stable/7 ZFS v6 users
