When will the new BCE driver in HEAD be incorporated into RELENG_6?

Well, I tried to backport the driver in -CURRENT to 6-STABLE and failed.

Then I tried upgrading the system to -CURRENT, and that's left me with an
unbootable system.

Just not having a good day ...
