gnome-terminal and locale support

This is not a specific problem of gnome-terminal.
I receive this message also for xfce4, gqview, and etc.

Looks like problem appears after updating with 'make world' from 5.4 to 6.0 (in my case).

I reinstalled some ports and problem disappeared.
