"runtime went backwards" message in logs

I recently noticed strange message in the logs:

What could be reason for it?
Could this indicate possible break-in (it was in security log), or is more
likely a hardware/software error? (I'm seeing this message for the first
time.)

The OS is FreeBSD 6.0 RELEASE (sendmail is the one provided with FreeBSD).

PS. Not sure if this have anything to do with it (the message mentions CPU
time, not the clock), but I'm running a ntp daemon, to synchronize time...
