Maple 9.5 install -- [SOLUTION]

Thanks to Georg-W. Koltermann <gwk at rahn-koltermann.de> who told me how
to fix this.  All you need to do is to enable linprocfs in the following
way:
        $ kldload linprocfs
        $ mount -t linprocfs linprocfs /compat/linux/proc

Just for the archives in case someone else has the misfortune to need
Maple...
