Disk Controller Support

Hello!

Does the latest 4.8-stable support the SiS 648 disk controller?
I see its not listed in the hardware document for 4.8-release but I am
hoping support has since been added in.

I do see its supported in 5.x but I don't wish to use that version
yet.

Does any one know?
