If you simply stated on your web pages that you're offering some
jail(8)-based hosting... If a company mentions FreeBSD, its most
likely that they'll provide some jail(8)s, with or without root access.
Strangely, very few companies admit this, even if it's obvious both
in the industry and to better informed sysadmins...

I would stay clear of companies that are not openly stating their
core technology. If you modified the kernel to better suit your needs,
that's okay, and your trade secret. That is not the problem here.
Just be open about what you're offering, and the credibility issues
quickly melt away.

matrix(8) would have been a better marketing term though... :-)
