silicon image 3112 support serial ata for raid-1

Most of the motherboard manufactures (supermicro, tyan, gigabyte, asus) 
are using the silicon image 3112 for serial ata.  I noticed support in 
5.1-current, but I was wondering if there was any plan to port this to 
stable? raid-1 support?
