agreed that this is sorely lacking. This is my write-up about

Please try to be a good scientist by doing lots of reading, taking
good notes including error messages, and including pieces of your lab
notebook in your questions. It's the only way to get your problem
solved, and optimistically this would help to create the missing
documentation.
