Audio on Ultra 1?

No, I didn't. 'device sound' isn't in GENERIC (I made my kernel config
file a copy from GENERIC), and it isn't in NOTES either (I browsed
through NOTES to see if there anything there that I needed). Therefore,
I didn't think that I needed in my config file.

But adding 'device sound' didn't cure all problems, see my other
message.
