I just built FreeBSD-current (CVS as of this morning European time) on
this E450 here (first step, still with 32-bit time_t), but it no
longer boots:

For comparision, here are the boot messages of a 5.2.1 kernel on the
same machine:

So it appears that <associations> device is somehow causing the
trouble, doesn't it? Any clues about how to fix that?

Is it safe to run the -current (32-bit time_t) world against a 5.2.1
kernel to recover from this situation? Right now, the box is just at
the single-user prompt only.
