Hello,
I've installed FreeBSD 5.3 on an external ultra scsi drive.
To boot I use a devalias:
boot freebsd
where freebsd = /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 1,1/disk at 3,0:a
ok probe-scsi-all
/pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 1,1
/pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 1
Target 3
Unit 0 Disk SEAGATE STXXXXXSUN18G 034 A
perhaps the good devalias is
freebsd = /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 1/disk at 3,0:a
My / partition is "a"
I can't test no more because i'm installing gentoo sparc on my ultra5.
If someone could tell me what devalias i should use I will reinstall freebsd
and will try to boot it
Regards,
Yann
