FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE on a two procesor system

FreeBSD can, but I don't think there are any motherboards out there that do 
that.  I've run the 4-way testbox I have here with 3 CPUs by using a hint in 
-current to disable one of the cpus (hint.lapic.2.disabled=1 or the like).
