Hi I installed freebsd 5.2 release yesterday and was ready to compile the kernel for the use of smp when i looked into GENERIC i saw that everything allready was ready for the use of both processors. i had not use freebsd anymore since 4.3 is it that when you install 5.2 it's recognizing the hardware as beeing a dual proc like the linux installers ? and adjust the kernel for it ? jan
