Eventually, I have replaced the P212 with my spare Dell 6/E Integrated SAS
controller. Everything works just fine.

Just would like to share some information for others who are experiencing
the same problem.

I have even tried using CentOS 5.5 with latest driver from HP. But it is
really strange that when I use mtx on OS level it works without problem,
while whenever I try to communicate with the tape loader using bacula, it
didn't work at all. The post effect of using bacula to access the tape
library is really serious, I will have to reboot the server before I can use
mtx again. In addition, I have tried the mtx-changer which is provided by
Bacula and it also didn't work.

Now I am testing my loader with btape provided by bacula which seems to be
working fine initially.
