I have built ruby-2.1.6 with:
.if ${ARCH} == "armv6" || ${ARCH} == "armv6hf"
CONFIGURE_ARGS+= --with-setjmp-type=_setjmp
.endif
added to the Makefile. The build finished successfully (FreeBSD 11.0-CURRENT #1
r281266M arm on a wandboard-quad).
Here is the output of make test:
