Rebuilt the kernel with "options P1003_1B_SEMAPHORES" and Firefox now
works fine.

Since this option seems to be required for Firefox (and perhaps for
other ports?), shouldn't /usr/ports/UPDATING or /usr/src/UPDATING
reflect this?
