Unfortunately, I don't have any answers to this problem. I only
know that the same thing happened to me when I tried to upgrade
from the older, no-longer-supported bind9-3
[My solution was to reinstall the older bind9 ....]
I am running 7.3, altho that shouldn't make any difference... .
