Furthermore, Jon's emails are not encrypted, they're simply cryptographically
signed.  Don't know what your MUA thinks it's doing, but it's doing wrong
by you.

If you can find a setting to frob to get your MUA to display at text
instead of thinking so hard, you'll be able to read Jon's emails.
