	well, i searched for "PHP.INI" and only found "PHP.ini".... and then
	also "php.ini" (along w ith various ``-dist|-recommended'' flavors of
	the preprocessor startup.  It is worth noting that what I dropped in
	around 19:00 last is exactly the same as that which I grabbed out of
	ports last Oct.  --I'm just mentioning this to alleviate fear of
	missing out on some latest and greatest "fix."  There are always
	security fixes, obviously, but in general php is fairly stable.

	tHe "short" tags are off by default.  In other words, anybody who
	hacks php has to remember to add the three more bytes.

	Thanks for catching that, Brad.  Save a few bytes:)  When I did the
	restart, the sanity checker said things were okay, so whatever kind of
	parser reads the file is pretty sharp.
