Upgrading from 8.0-Release /

Sure you don't have a freebsd-update cron running which runs a the time
just between executing freebsd-update -r 8.1-RELEASE + merging config
files and executing freebsd-update install?
I upgraded some boxes to 8.1 and did not see this problem.
