To rebuild your locate database, just run
/etc/periodic/weekly/310.locate

It makes finding files much easier.

After a bit of poking, it seems that 6.3 has
/lib/libthr.so.2

You could try symlinking, but that will very
likely not work.

You can try reinstalling libapr, to see if it
will link the older library.  To find out where
it reports its origin:
pkg_info -o /var/db/pkg/\*libapr\*


If that fails, I'm afraid you'll have to
upgrade to 7.x
