Why this flash drive not detected in devd?

These lines are "printed" by the kernel.

One way I can think of is using 'camcontrol inquiry' and 'camcontrol
tags' commands on the daX devices.

Obviously the information you seek is available in the kernel. But I
don't know how to get at it.
