I ran the grep, and it did come back with site_perl/5.8.8, so I ran:
pkg_delete -f p5-Socket6-*
pkgdb -F
portupgrade p5-Mail-SpamAssassin
and I get the following errors:
---cut---
Writing Makefile for IO::Socket::INET6

cp lib/IO/Socket/INET6.pm blib/lib/IO/Socket/INET6.pm

You may wish to ``make deinstall'' and install this port again
by ``make reinstall'' to upgrade it properly.
If you really wish to overwrite the old port of net/p5-IO-INET6
without deleting it first, set the variable "FORCE_PKG_REGISTER"
in your environment or the "make install" command line.
