Successful Recent Events

 Universal Children's Day
As the world recognized Universal Children's Day, Child Foundation promoted and coordinated this special day to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child by the UN General Assembly, to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide.

At the event, nearly 140 guests attended a lunch reception at the Camden House banquet room in Beverly Hills. Attendees enjoyed the music by Rojeh and his four-member band. Then a CF promo was screened and it was followed by a short speech by CF Board Member Mr. Peyman Raoofi.
Guests enjoyed entertainment including live performances by Nima and Enayat. Next door to the event there was a room designated for children's entertainment. A clown entertained kids with his balloon sculptures and Mojan, a CF volunteer did a great job with her face painting. Kids also enjoyed gifts and a Charlie Chaplin replica.

President-elect of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association (LACPA), Dr. Amy Rosett, was among the distinguished guests. She made a donation to Child Foundation at the event.

Child Foundation was able to successfully sponsor 18 kids and raise money to help children in need. CF received support from the following Persian Media: JameJam Tv, Time TV, Iranian TV, PEN TV, Omid e Iran TV, Radio 670am, Javanan Magazine, Hafteh Bazaar Magazine, and Yellow Pages Melli. All of this was possible with great team work and help from dedicated CF volunteers who planned and organized the event.
Children's Concert to Benefit Child Foundation

The Concert For Kids was a new event in the Beaverton community. It was held on November 17th at Beaverton High School. The event was a school project by Babak Seyed Shakeri that evolved into something else. The concert started becoming less of a project and more of a mission.

The concert performers were teens and children from the local area including Pevyand and Payam, and a violin duet. There was also a dance performance by The Persian Dance Academy and a local 12 year old singer.

The goal was to raise $1000 dollars for children in need. That night alone, over $1100 dollars was raised for Child Foundation. In addition to raising the money, we also raised awareness and changed children's lives.

Dubai Charity BazaarChild Foundation in Dubai held a Charity Bazaar at Azad University on November 19th. This event was well attended and many local and Persian owned businesses introduced their services to the community. It was a good opportunity for Child Foundation to introduce itself and its activities to the students and faculty of Azad University. Many thanks to the President of the University and the very helpful staff for providing the space and accommodations for this event.
