I see now what you are saying:
# sockstat -l4
root bsnmpd 2857 5 udp4 *:* *:*
root bsnmpd 2857 6 udp4 127.0.0.1:161 *:*
root bsnmpd 2857 7 udp4 208.70.106.1:161 *:*
I don't think I've ever seen a "*.*" in the local addr field before.
