Modern FreeBSD Installer?

Ah, gpart(8), good hint! Not yet familiar with that.

Apparently, it's already in 7.x. I have no spare disk right now to
give it a try. Would it already support 8+ partitions on RELENG_7,
or do we have to wait for 8.0?
