Hi to all the list,
i tried to install gtk-murrine-engine from ports...
So i first updated them:
* removed the old ports directory to start fresh and then did
csup -L 2 -h cvsup.fr.FreeBSD.org /usr/share/examples/cvsup/ports-supfile
*i then typed
[root at apollo /usr]# portupgrade -P -N gtk-murrine-engine
and i got the following output:
[snip]
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgio-2.0
gmake: *** [libgiofam.la] Error 1
*** Error code 2
Stop in /usr/ports/devel/gio-fam-backend.
** Command failed [exit code 1]: /usr/bin/script -qa
/tmp/portupgrade.69428.0 env make reinstall
** Fix the installation problem and try again.
** Listing the failed packages (*:skipped / !:failed)
! x11-themes/gtk-murrine-engine (install error)
---> Packages processed: 0 done, 0 ignored, 0 skipped and 1 failed
so then i tried installing gio-fam-backend
so i typed:
[root at apollo /usr]# portupgrade -P -N gio-fam-backend
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgio-2.0
gmake: *** [libgiofam.la] Error 1
*** Error code 2
Stop in /usr/ports/devel/gio-fam-backend.
** Command failed [exit code 1]: /usr/bin/script -qa
/tmp/portupgrade.93689.0 env make
** Fix the problem and try again.
** Listing the failed packages (*:skipped / !:failed)
! devel/gio-fam-backend (unknown build error)
---> Packages processed: 0 done, 0 ignored, 0 skipped and 1 failed
i think the important part is:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgio-2.0
any ideas why this happened and how can i fix it?
thanks in advance for your time,
-nicolas
