I'm trying to do some benchmarks for a new/improved version of CPython and would like to know if gcc 3.4.4 as distributed with FreeBSD 6.1 handles the -fno-gcse option reasonably. I looked in the man page, but don't see that option explicitly so perhaps the main thrust of the optimisation approach is going wrong. -- Robin Becker
