I just saw in 'tail -f nohup.out':
===>   Registering installation for kde-3.5.8

i.e. after portsnap KDE installs fine (took 26 hours on my
laptop); as well I don't not even have the above mentioned
files/dirs:

# ls -l /usr/local/share/sgml/docbook
total 2
drwxr-xr-x  2 root  wheel  512 Mar  7 00:46 gnome-customization-0.1

maybe this depends from build options for the KDE port; I just
run it with BATCH=yes
