Printing with a laserjet 1018

HP printer using CUPS, right?
Try using /usr/local/bin/lpr instead of /usr/bin/lpr.
Same goes for lprm, lpq and friends.
Make sure all your apps do.
Maybe replace /usr/bin/lpr with /usr/local/bin/lpr.
Repeat after installworld.
