problem installing FreeBSD 6.3 on Virtual PC 2007

Has anyone been able to install FreeBSD version 6.3 successfully on Virtual
PC 2007?  Does anyone know how to get past the install hanging at "Trying to
mount root from ufs:/dev/md0"?
