good replacement for open office

Aloha,
I've had to use AbiWord since I ran into the same problem on 7 CURRENT.

I have a working Open office on a FreeBSD 4.11 box here that I use when 
all else fails.
Is there a way to copy that and have it work on 7 CURRENT?
