-stable kernel and release 6.2 base system. Do they need to be in sync?

Hi,

Just updated /usr/src to -stable (-rRELENG_6), and are now compiling
the -stable kernel.

Just wondering if I will need to rebuild the base system (world?) as
well so they are in sync?

Thanks.
