Using FreeBSD iconv on Linux

The sources are at
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/local-distfiles/bland/ , but it
really hasn't been updated since 2000.  All the FreeBSD ports depend on
GNU iconv.
